 FARM Orthopedics is working with physicians and product manufacturers to bring up-to-date information to potential orthopedic patients. Together we have developed BoneSmart®, a comprehensive national campaign to make consumers aware of the exciting new advances in orthopedic treatment.
Using the powerful reach of the Internet, BoneSmart® is a one-stop information and referral network for patient-consumers looking for a user-friendly, neutral environment, to explore their options and find the doctor that's right for their needs. Participants of the referral network will have access to information and marketing resources to use in their own outreach and patient education programs.
The Founders Group provided the initial funding for FARM Orthopedics. Sustainable funding will come from annual network fees, corporate sponsorships, individual contributions and other fundraising activities. FARM Orthopedics also enters strategic alliance partnership arrangements to provide special products and services to its network. Foundation supporters include manufacturers of medical devices, research and development institutions, physicians, professional organizations, hospitals, clinics and private individuals.
